Congratulations to Nicky and Adam for their 7th place finish in the Area III Championships Preliminary Rider division at Poplar Place!
Nicky and Albey also did very well in the Area III Championships! They finished 4th in the Training Horse division.
Great job, Laura! Laura and Patrick finished fourth in the Preliminary Rider division. Congratulations, what an excellent start in Prelim for the two of you!

Isa Rock Star!
Icer, Nicky's newest horse, made his horse show debut at the Poplar Place Schooling Show and will be competing at his first Horse Trials at Chatt Hills in July.

Linda Todenhagen Dressage Clinics
Linda Todenhagen will be at Montclair Stables May 7-8 and June 4-5.
Linda Todenhagen teaches basics through Grand Prix. Dressage riders, hunters, jumpers and eventers will benefit from riding with her. Her trainers have included: Col. Bengt Ljungquist, Walter Zettl, Carol Lavell and Michael Poulin. She has trained and ridden many FEI level horses and has won Regional Championships and Reserve Championships in 2nd Level through Grand Prix. Linda was a Silver Medalist in the Olympic National Sports Festival. Originally from Buffalo, New York, Linda now operates her training program out of Delray Beach, Florida.

Albey on Time secured a first place finish in the Training Horse Division at the Chattahoochee Hills Horse Trials qualifying him for a spot at this years American Eventing Championships.

Flyin' Bayou (Adam) had another great cross country run and is back to fine form finishing in 8th in the Preliminary Rider Division. He too is qualified for the American Eventing Championships.

Joe Meyer Clinic

Joe returned for another clinic at Montclair the weekend of April 23-24, 2011. He competed at the Rolex Kentucky CCI**** the following weekend.
Congratulations to Joe and Snip for completing Rolex and for their 11th place finish.
Joe Meyer, international 4 star event rider, did his first clinic at Montclair the weekend of Sept 18th-19th, 2010. Everybody had a great time with Joe. He was positive and helpful to riders of all levels and was also a lot of fun to work with. Joe has since returned for two more clinics and we hope he'll return for many more.

Congratulations Nicky on being USEA 2010 Master Novice Rider of the Year! We are all very proud of you!
Albey on Time took Reserve Champion in the Novice Horse Division at the 2010 American Eventing Championships. Albey was a rock star the whole weekend at the AEC's. He put in his normal superb dressage test, followed by a great cross country run and a clean show jumping round on Saturday afternoon. Nicky couldn't have been happier with the 5 year old who did his first Novice Horse Trials in February this year.

Linzi and Davign's Dior rode two really nice tests to win the 2010 Region 3 Training Level Championship for Junior Young Rider with a score of 73.200 and place 5th in the 1st level Junior Young Rider with a score of 66.711.
